Health Advocate Complaint Process

The Health Advocate assists people to find their way to the appropriate place to address their concerns. In some cases, the Health Advocate may conduct a review or investigation, with or without a complaint, into situations where it is believed that someone has failed to act in a manner consistent with the Health Charter.

When you contact the office, you will be connected with an Advocate Representative, who listens to understand your concern. Together, you will discuss the issue(s) to determine the best way to resolve your concern. The Advocate Representative may make a referral to another agency, program or service on your behalf, provide you with information, or determine if your concern may be investigated by the Health Advocate.
